Mutual Aid: Structure Fire, 6, February, 2008
00:22 Hours
At 00:22 Howard Fire Company got dispatched to a Structure fire in box 914 at 241 Neff Rd. 991 was on scene within minutes and advised a working fire in the basement. The residence of the home all safely got out of the house. Units on scene were, 1418, 1420, 1411, 914, 912, 920, 219, 114, 819, 619 . The Box was placed available at 03:50.

Mutual Aid: Barn Fire, 8, February, 2008
18:36 Hours
At 18:36 Howard Fire Company got dispatched to a Barn fire in box 1602 at 351 Nyna Ln, Walker Twp. 1693 had command and advised working fire. Units on the scene were, 1418, 1420, 1411 on standby at station 16, 1614, 1610, 1619, 1636, 819, 219, 216, 212, 1919, Clinton 17-4, Clinton 4-12.Total minutes on alarm 3hr 2min.

MVA Jacksonville Rd, Marion Township
9, February, 2008
At 28:40 hrs in Box 1450. Company 14 responded to a MVA with Injuries in, Jacksonville Rd, Marion Township. 1418, 1411, 1423 responded to the scene. Company 14 found the vehicle to snap a telephone pole and the spin off into a field. The driver and passenger were ok with no EMS needed. 1405 had command. (Click for more pictures.)

At 15:48 hrs in Box 1450. Company 14 responded to a MVA with Injuries in, Jacksonville Rd / Walnut St, Marion Township. 1403 was on scene within minutes. He advised two vehicles’, one on the roadway minor injuries. He held response to 1418 only and EMS. (Click for more pictures.)

Mutual Aid: Dwelling Fire
2, April, 2008
Company 14 was dispatched for a dwelling fire in Blanchard at 157 Beach St. 1411, 1418 responded to the scene. 1411 crew helped with interior knockdown, while 1418 crew filled cylinder with the cascaded system.

Mutual Aid: Dwelling Fire
6, April, 2008
Fire Box 916-23:49– Rescue 1418 was dispatched for a dwelling fire at 106 Stauffer Lane Boggs Twp. Chief 900 arrived on scene with a working fire. Engine-Rescue 814 was special requested for RIT. Rescue 1418 crew helped with water supply, and interior knockdown. Chief 1400 filled cylinder’s with 1418. 1418 remained on scene and assisted with overhaul and cleanup and was placed available at 3:17.

Company 14 was dispatched to Box 1901 for a Barn Fire at 194 Egg Drive - Miles Twp. Tanker 1420 was due on the call.

Mutual Aid: Search Detail
20, April 2008
Company 14 was dispatched for a Search Detail in Clinton Box 902 at the Eagleville Bridge. 1400 then requested company-9 for the second company 14 boat that is kept at station 9. The boats where put in to affect in the bald eagle creek, for a search of a missing person. 1418 was used as the command post.

MVA 500 block Walnut St
15, May 2008
At 21:38 units from Howard were dispatched to a two vehicle accident in the 500 block of Walnut Street. 1400 and 1460, arrived on scene first in 1423, and found a vehicle on its roof in the trees off the roadway, the driver of the vehicle was missing upon arrival. 1400 established command and put in to affect a search for the missing person. Company 14 crews used a thermal imaging camera and found the patient about 15 ft from her vehicle in the woods. Company 14 packaged the patient and got her to the Ambulance. The Second vehicle was on the roadway, and patient had minor injuries. Two patients were taken to the hospital. Walnut Street remained closed for several hours by Company 14 Fire Police.

Train V.S. Truck
Box 1490 Howard Township
(3, August 2008)
Company 14 got dispatched for a Train that ran into a pickup truck that was stuck on the railroad tracks. No patients were inside the truck at the time of the incident. The truck had a gas leak, as the train pushed the truck approximately a quarter mile down the tracks before it came to a stop. Company 14, 9, and Penn State Hazmat, used foam to contain the gas leak coming from the truck.

Shed Fire
Box 1450 Marion Twp.
29, November 2008
Company 14 was dispatched to 176 School house Dr, Marion Twp, for a shed fire. 1403 arrived on scene to find a fully involved structure. 1403 took command an advised 1610 to go to dry hydrant to set up a fill site. 1411 followed by 1420. 1411 had initial attack supplied by 6 tankers Engine 212 added a back-up line to 1411. After knock down, did much overhaul that was allowed due unsafe conditions.
